Building permits and zoning applications

The Building Department of the City of Oxford would like our citizens and builders to know that building permits can be purchased over the phone with a credit/debit card. Permit applications can also be emailed to the Building Department with payment over the phone. All inspections should be called in when they are ready. All questions concerning zoning, signage and building can be answered over the phone or by email. All signs have to be approved by submitting the designs by email before a permit can be issued. If you are interested in opening a business in an existing building, you will need an inspection prior to getting your business license. Below is a link to the form for the business inspection.
