About Oxford Business League
In March 2018, the City of Oxford launched its newest program, the Oxford Business League. The Oxford Business League's purpose and mission is to promote the growth, prosperity, and partnership among all businesses within the City of Oxford. The Oxford Business League is responsible for, but not limited to: hosting a minimum of six workshops annually, communicating between the City of Oxford businesses, recruiting new businesses, assisting openings, ribbon cuttings, and groundbreakings, promoting available properties for business expansion, coordinating with City of Oxford Marketing Department, and catalyzing future partnerships among independent and franchise businesses.
Each person, firm, corporation or other business entity must obtain a City of Oxford business license prior to conducting business activity in the City of Oxford. The license year is January 1 through December 31. Business license renewals are due January 1 and delinquent after January 31 each year. Calhoun County Economic Development Council
We are home to a diverse set of industries, from federal defense contractors to automotive suppliers who service Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Nissan, New Flyer, and other automotive OEM's located in the South.
