National Mosquito Control Awareness Week

National Mosquito Control Awareness Week

National Mosquito Control Awareness Week aims to increase the community’s awareness of reducing mosquito populations and preventing mosquito-borne diseases. Effective mosquito control protects public health, enhances the quality of life, and maintains a safe environment.

Get ready to protect yourself from pesky mosquitos on June 20, when we celebrate National Mosquito Control Awareness Week!

This week was established in 2006 by the American Mosquito Control Association to educate people about the importance of mosquito control and how to prevent mosquito-borne illnesses.

Did you know mosquitoes have existed for over 30 million years?

Despite their small size, they can cause significant problems, so it’s important to take measures to keep them away.

Mosquito control professionals work year-round to prevent these tiny pests from causing big problems in our community.

You can also take steps to protect yourself and your family from mosquito bites. Find out what mosquito control programs do and ways you can also help control mosquitoes at home and in your community.

So, let’s come together and spread awareness about mosquito control for a safer and healthier community!
