NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 20th day of November 2023, the undersigned caused notice to be posted in four places of a proposed Ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map of the City of Oxford, Alabama. Said Ordinance was posted in full. The effect of said Ordinance will be to zone Residential 1 District (R-1) the following described real estate being in the City of Oxford:
Parcel One: Beginning at a point 663 feet West of the Northeast corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 4, Township 17,Range 8, Talladega County, Alabama; thence West along the North line of said quarter Section a distance of 327 feet toa point; thence South and parallel to the West line of said quarter Section a distance of 500 feet to a point; thenceEast and parallel to the North line of said quarter Section a distance of 327 feet; thence North and parallel to the Westline of said quarter Section 500 feet to the point of beginning; situated, lying and being in the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 ofSection 4, Township 17, Range 8, Talladega County, Alabama.
Parcel Two: Beginning at a point 990 feet West of the NE corner of the NE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 4, Township17, Range 8, Talladega County, Alabama, said point of beginning being on the North quarter-quarter section line;thence West along said North quarter-quarter section line a distance of 50 feet to a point; thence South and parallel tothe West line of said quarter-quarter section a distance of 420 feet to a point; thence East and parallel to the Northquarter-quarter section line a distance of 50 feet to a point; thence North and parallel to the West quarter-quarter sectionline a distance of 420 feet to the point of beginning; situated, lying and being in the NE ¼ of the NW of Section 4,Township 17 Range Talladega County, Alabama

Said Proposed Ordinance is to be considered by the City Council of the City of Oxford at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th, 2023, in the Council Chambers of the City of Oxford, 145 Hamric Drive East, and at such time and place all persons who desire will have the opportunity of being heard in opposition to or in favor of said Ordinance.
