Gracie Accessories Opens Kids' Boutique at Oxford Exchange

Barbara Momern said she was “speechless” as a crowd of well-wishers joined her in cutting the ribbon on her new Gracie Accessories boutique on Thursday, Feb. 29.

Located at 230 Oxford Exchange, the boutique store features kids’ hair accessories, clothes, and more.

“I wanted to open a place where parents and grandparents could buy these things for their children at prices more reasonable than I paid for them for my children and grandchildren,” Momern said. “God had this vision for me and I have asked Him to be my pilot. This has been a blessing.”

“I am so glad to be a part of the Oxford family,” she added. “We hope we are able to serve the community.”

Mayor Alton Craft was on hand to welcome the new shop to Oxford’s growing ranks of new businesses. Craft told Momern that, as a grandfather, he had been taking pictures of the outfits as a potential customer for his granddaughter.

“We are so happy to have you here in Oxford and if there is anything we can do for you, we’ll be more than happy to help you with anything we can,” Craft said.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend and support shop owner Barbara Momern as she begins her new business.
