Celebrate Independence Day at Freedom Festival 2026, one of Oxford's favorite summer traditions! Spend the day enjoying family-friendly fun at Oxford Lake Park and the Oxford Civic Center, featuring a parade, live music, a petting zoo, tricycle and bicycle races, a pet show, free carnival games and prizes, swimming, food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks show to cap off the evening. 🇺🇸🎆

• 8:00 AM – Around the Lake Ramble for Senior Adults - Walk and get a ribbon!

• 8:30 AM – Parade Registration & Line-Up (Baseball Parking Lot); Cheaha Winds Community Band Performance in Liberty Park

• 9:00 AM – Freedom Festival Parade Begins

• 9:15 AM – Opening Ceremonies at Liberty Park

• 9:30 AM – Petting Zoo, Tricycle & Bicycle Races, and Pet Show

• 9:45–11:30 AM – Free Carnival Games & Prizes for Children (Gymnasium)

• 11:00 AM–4:00 PM – City Pool Open ($2 Admission); Swim Races at 1:00 PM
