1. Second Friday on Main
Second Friday on Main is held on the second Friday of each month, April through September 2024. The event includes a variety of mobile food vendors, live entertainment, lawn games, bounce houses, art vendors, the classic cars, and a movie!

2. Market on Main
Market on Main is a seasonal artisan and craft vendor market held at Simmons Park in Historic Downtown Oxford. It is held on the third Saturday of each month, April through September 2024.
What to expect? Artisan and craft vendors, live entertainment, fun kids zone, car show, and downtown shopping.

3. Kids Fishing Rodeo

We are thrilled to announce the first-ever Kids Fishing Rodeo, a free community event for children of all ages! The event will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 9am.
It will be a blast with lots of activities, including fishing, bounce houses, and food. Additionally, they have arranged a special needs fishing area in a covered pavilion. The lake at Choccolocco Park will be stocked with 2,000 lbs of farm-raised catfish, just waiting for you to catch them!
Please bring a cooler, lawn chairs, and fishing supplies such as bait, rods, and reels. Fishing supplies will be available for those who need them while supplies last.

5. 4th Annual Freedom Fest Car Show
We are excited to invite all communities and automotive enthusiasts to our 4th Annual Freedom Fest Car Show! Featuring classic cars, live music, food vendors, top door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing!
Admission is FREE, and the event will take place at the Oxford Civic Center.

8. Sales Tax-Free Weekend
Alabama’s 19th annual sales tax holiday for school-related items begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, and ends at midnight Sunday, July 21, 2024, giving shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies, computers, books and clothing free of the state & city sales or use tax.
