FabArc Steel Supply Completes $200 Million+ Contract

FabArc Steel Supply Completes $200 Million+ Contract

FabArc Steel Supply, Inc., Alabama’s largest steel subcontractor and an AISC-certified fabrication facility located in Oxford, has announced the successful steel structure completion of its $200 million-plus contract for Amplify, a manufacturing facility located in Byhalia, Mississippi.

This milestone marks the largest contract in FabArc Steel Supply’s history and highlights the company’s ability to deliver on complex, large-scale industrial projects. The owner of the project is Amplify Cell Technologies.

“This project represents a true team effort, not just within FabArc Steel Supply but across all of our partners,” stated Donnie Bragg, project manager at FabArc Steel Supply. “The scale of this project required everyone’s expertise, and I am incredibly proud of the dedication and precision our team demonstrated to bring this facility to life.”

The Amplify project required more than 28,000 tons of structural steel, featuring W14×500 columns and W40×655 beams, some of the heaviest standard shapes produced in North America. FabArc Steel Supply also fabricated and delivered massive roof trusses exceeding 80 feet in length, 9 feet in depth, and weighing up to 40,000 pounds each. At peak production, the company shipped over 60 truckloads per week to an outside paint facility and another 60 truckloads per week directly to the jobsite.
