Fall Market, Witches Ride sets records for Historic Main Street Oxford

The combination of the 2025 editions of Fall Market on Main and Witches Ride and Walk on Main, held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, set new records for both Historic Main Street Oxford events.
More than 50 craft, artisan, and food vendors filled Simmons Park during the first half of the day for the annual Fall Market on Main as visitors were able to discover many of the local vendors and shop from their unique offerings.
The evening hours changed the mood to fun and fright as Main Street was filled with witches, warlocks, and goblins either walking or using a costumed mode of transportation during the fifth annual Witches Ride and Walk on Main.
Visitors to downtown were also treated to a free concert by The Vintage Vixens, with music from the 60s and 70s, at the Terrortorium – Haunted House & Amusements.
Many of the Main Street businesses got into the Halloween spirit by offering customers fun specials designed with the occasion in mind.
This represented the highest number of participants ever for both events,” said Historic Main Street Oxford director Hunter Gentry. “I am grateful for the enthusiasm with which our Main Street businesses endorsed and participated in these events, and it continues to create an energy that draws more people to discover all the eat, shop, and play options downtown Oxford has to offer.”
