Historic Main Street Oxford annually hosts a series of workshops to assist businesses in both establishment and growth as they work in the Oxford community.
“2026 Oxford Zoning 101: A Real Estate Agent's Guide,” was held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Oxford Civic Center.
Presented by Hunter Gentry, director of Historic Main Street Oxford, and Kristi Durham, director of Oxford Building Services, this essential workshop provided real estate agents with a comprehensive understanding of Oxford’s zoning laws and development regulations. Attendees gained valuable insights into zoning regulations, permits, inspections, and compliance requirements, ensuring smoother property transactions.
They were joined by Chris Callahan, building code enforcement and Brandon Dover, nuisance abatement enforcement.
The session was designed to help real estate professionals confidently navigate Oxford’s regulatory landscape, facilitating better guidance for clients and seamless property transactions.
Three more of these helpful seminars are planned for the remainder of the year. Make plans to attend now!
