Restorative Prosthetics and Orthotics opens new Oxford location

Restorative Prosthetics and Orthotics opens new Oxford location

Restorative Prosthetics and Orthotics opened their new location at 2107 US Highway 78 E, Unit 6, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony sponsored by the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

The new location is one of 16 located in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

They offer a board-certified prosthetics staff that crafts and fits a wide variety of upper and lower extremity prostheses customized to best align with a person’s lifestyle and goals.

Their experienced clinicians have helped thousands of patients of all ages overcome physical impairments and limitations with advanced customized orthotic solutions.

Restorative Prosthetics also has a long history of treating children with limb loss and limb differences, whether from a congenital defect, trauma, or disease progression.

Restorative’s Scotty Sams had been practicing in the profession for many years before he sold his business to join with the Restorative team.

“It’s family,” Sam said. “My mom lost her leg when I was eight years old. That’s when I became interested, and it all went from there.”

Historic Main Street Oxford director Hunter Gentry, who also serves on the Chamber’s board of directors, greeted the new business on behalf of Mayor Alton Craft.

“We are glad you chose Oxford, and our city staff stands ready to help in any way we can,” Gentry said.

Restorative’s hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
