Members of the Oxford Police Department took their positions once again to meet their constituents and share a cup of coffee during their “Coffee with a Cop” held Friday, April 16, 2026, at Emblem Credit Union located at Highway 28 E.
The event was co-sponsored by the Calhoun County Area Chamber of Commerce, with food provided by Music City Bagels and coffee provided by Southern Girl Coffee.
Community members took advantage of sharing handshakes and conversations with Police Chief Bill Partridge, seeing one of the department’s technical vans, meeting many of the officers, and having some fun with OXPD’s two four-legged officers – their robot dog and the real thing, K-9 Havoc.
The Oxford Police Department does not place limits on hearing from the people they serve. Any non-emergency comments are welcome at 256-831-3121 or through the administration division at 256-835-6108. Comments are also accepted through the website at oxfordpb.org and the Oxford Police Department phone app.
