The Oxford Police Department helped kickoff a new community recognition of veterans and first responders as they brought their “Coffee With A Cop” to Hooligan Harley-Davidson at 231 Davis Loop on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Chief Daniel Phipps joined other Oxford Police personnel in bringing one of the department’s impressive vehicles to the popular motorcycle outlet, along with the opportunity to have a free cup of coffee and engage with police officers.

The event also helped start a new monthly tradition at Hooligan, “Heroes & Harleys,”  which will offer a veterans and first responders breakfast every first Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. as a way of highlighting the work and sacrifices those groups give to the community and to the nation.
