The Glow House Esthetics Studio opened the doors to its new 1201 Snow Street, Suite B location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the city of Oxford on Friday, August 14, 2026.
“It’s great to welcome another small business to our city,” said Hunter Gentry, director of economic development and Main Street.
Mayor Alton Craft added his voice of welcome to the ceremony. “We appreciate you bringing your business here,” Craft said.
Owners Melissa Hogan and Erica Mitchell say opening the studio represents their passion to “make people comfortable in their own skin.”
Hogan refers to the studio as a “mini med spa.”
Clients can choose from a full list of services, including facials, full-body waxing, spray tans, chemical peels, eyebrows and lashes, and various medical skin care treatments.
“We are both very passionate about what we do, and we have had this dream for about five years that has finally come to life,” Hogan said. “We have created this space where people can feel welcome and improve their glow from the inside out. We do that by keeping up with the latest training and are excited to share that with the community and be a part of Oxford.”
“We are really thankful for everyone that has helped us along the way,” Mitchell said. “This has been a dream for a long time for us. We are excited to be in Oxford.”
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 256-499-7290 or 256-846-2949, and there is a booking link available on the Glow House Facebook page.
