Resolution No. 2026 – 71 – Resolution declaring a six-month moratorium on the issuance of licenses for the sale of consumable hemp products.
Resolution No. 2026 – 72 - Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the city of Oxford, the Calhoun County Commission, and the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office for the housing of municipal inmates.
Resolution No. 2026 - 73 – Resolution authorizing the agreement between the Oxford City Board of Education, Hope Christian Academy, and Trinity Christian Academy for the establishment of high school fire bridge programs.
Set Public Hearings for September 8, 2026 to consider the following zoning requests which were considered by the Oxford Planning Commission at their August 4, 2026 meeting: Zoning request from Marshall McKinney to zone property located at 3105 Apple Valley Lane as Residential 1 District (R-1); and zoning request from Hurst Property Management to rezone property located at 49952 Alabama Highway 21 from Residential 1 District (R-1) to Planned Development 1 District (PD-1).
