Those who enjoy the pleasure baubles, bangles and beads can provide have a new outlet where they can find the perfect sparking highlight for themselves or someone they love.

The city of Oxford welcomed All Around Ashley’s with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Jan. 19.

Ashey McCann was joined by her husband, Joseph, as the business located at 1330 Barry Street officially opened its doors. All About Ashley’s features a wide assortment of jewelry items ranging from rings to necklaces.

McCann said she moved to Oxford from Ohio six months ago with the hopes of joining a law enforcement agency. As she awaits that opportunity, she decided to fulfill her idea of opening a jewelry shop.

The mother of two said she has been impressed with the schools and called Oxford “a great place to raise your children.”

“This is a very pleasant place to live,” she said.

“We are glad you came,” said Mayor Alton Craft. “We are proud to have your business here and hope you are very, very successful.”

McCann said the business will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays.
