Oxford Senior Center rolls the dice for fun Valentine’s party

Two dozen of Oxford’s seasoned citizens packed the Oxford Senior Center on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, for a special Valentine’s party loaded with fun and games.
The special guests were all greeted with a traditional heart-shaped box of chocolates before gathering for a game of chance to win pieces of candy and a guaranteed hour of laughter among good friends.
OSC staff member Kimberly Thomas emceed a game of “Candy Dice,” where a throw of the oversized plush die could either win or lose pieces of candy, at times causing good-natured strategy decisions about to whom one should give some candy or from whom one should take a piece.
Guests were also provided with valentines they could send to the special people in their lives.
“You could feel the love today at the center,” Thomas said. “The seniors had a good time playing the Candy Dice Game and sending valentines. Hearing all the laughter was the very best part. We love these people.”
