Exit Realty Cheaha officially opened its new Oxford location at 1720 Hamric Dr. E, Suite 4, during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Julie and Thad Watson, owners and brokers, welcomed all to their special day in the newly remodeled business suite, which they said was designed for the comfort of both agents and their clients.

“My passion is helping people achieve their real estate goals. I spend time educating my clients on the buying and selling process, helping people connect with lenders who have a helpful attitude and are communicative with clients, so that they don't feel insecure due to lack of knowledge,” Julie said.

“My purpose for being here is to ensure we do everything we can for clients and agents so they can do the best for their families,” Thad said. “I want people to feel comfortable when they come in here. The best thing we can do for clients is give them a resource when they need it and not have stress around them.”

State Sen. Keith Kelley, a fellow realtor, was also in attendance for the ribbon-cutting.

“Our real estate agents and companies work really well together,” Kelley said. “We work more as a community. We are all very happy you are here and you will find you will have assistance if you need it. And, coming into Oxford, you won’t find a more business-friendly city.”
